A large, detailed digital dashboard displayed on an ultra-thin, frameless monitor resting on a clean white desk. The dashboard shows layered disaster risk maps with color-coded heat zones, interactive graphs, and neatly organized analytic widgets, all in cool blues and accent oranges. Behind the monitor, a floor-to-ceiling window reveals a distant, slightly blurred skyline with varied infrastructure. Soft overcast daylight pours in, creating gentle reflections on the screen and desk surface. Captured in photographic realism from a slightly elevated angle using the rule of thirds, the composition feels calm, professional, and data-driven, emphasizing clarity, preparedness, and modern resilience analytics in a minimalist, corporate environment.

Disaster Resilience Consulting for Local Governments

Partner with Valiance Resilience Analytics to assess hazards, prioritize investments, and safeguard your community before, during, and after disasters.

Disaster resilience decisions you can stand behind

Valiance Resilience Analytics helps local governments, businesses, schools, and nonprofits understand their risks and move from worry to clear, practical action.

Meet the founder

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of disaster, data, and communities that can’t afford to get it wrong.

As a FEMA Program Delivery Manager/Task Force Leader, I helped local governments and public entities navigate some of the most complex moments they’ll ever face — obligating over $30 million in disaster recovery funding and translating federal policy into actionable recovery plans for communities on the ground. I’ve worked as a Voluntary Agency Liaison, a Manufactured Housing Specialist, and an Applicant Services Coordinator. Every role taught me the same thing: the gap between what communities need and what they receive is almost always a planning problem.

Before FEMA, I served with AmeriCorps NCCC-FEMA Corps, deployed as a disaster responder with the American Red Cross, and supported environmental health risk analysis initiatives. I’ve presented research at the 19th International Graduate Student Conference in Paris on disaster management in rural Kenya.

I hold a PhD in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Emergency Management, a Master of Philosophy, and an MBA. My academic work is backed by professional development through FEMA’s Emergency Management Institute, Harvard’s programs in Radiological Emergency Planning,Environmental Health Risk Analysis, and the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative.

Valiance Resilence Analytics exists because resilience shouldn’t be a luxury. I built it to give local governments, schools, businesses, and nonprofits access to the same caliber of analysis and planning that larger institutions take for granted — delivered clearly, practically, and with your constraints in mind.
